Eligibility

  • Open to all Primary Schools, Secondary Schools, Junior Colleges and Centralised Institutions students, and In-Service MOE teachers only.
  • Prior experience or knowledge in 3D game building techniques is not required. Fully sponsored training workshops will be provided for all participants.

In-Service MOE Teacher Category

  • In-Service MOE Teacher Category accepts entries by individual teachers.
  • Only one entry per teacher is accepted.
  • There is no limit to the number of entries submitted by each school.
  • Student Categories

    • Each team will be formed by a registered teacher-in-charge with 3 student members.
    • Each member can only be part of 1 team.Only one entry per team is accepted.
    • There is no limit to the number of entries submitted by each school.

    Terms & Conditions

    • All teams are to build their 3D games using Missionmaker.
    • There will be no time restrictions on the entry creation.
    • The participants will be given a list of subjects to select from.
    • The participants are free to create the entries at their own pace within the window periods.
    • Entries will only be qualified with the submission of both the MissionMaker and PlayMission files.
    • Games built with Missionmaker cannot be transacted for commercial / monetary benefits.
    • The entries will be shared among all education institutions via cluster sharing portals, and/or other means that are deemed appropriate by the Organisers.

    Judging

    • Combination of Singapore judging (50%) and UK judging (50%) by a panel comprising industry professionals
    • Criteria: Language, Narrative & Structure, Purpose, Challenge, Visuals, Missionmaker Advanced Elements, Enjoyment

    Rewards

    • In-Service Teacher Category: Overall Champion will win a fully sponsored 3D/2N trip to Taipei for 2 persons, or equivalent
    • Student Categories: Overall Champion will win a fully sponsored 3D/2N trip to Taipei, or equivalent + school will receive trophy
    • Category Champion schools will receive trophies.
    • All winner entries will be awarded certificates and prizes.
    • All participants will be awarded certificates.
    • The winner entries will be telecasted over public television channel.
    • The entries will be showcased via cluster sharing portals.
